I want to be a computational social scientist who utilizes data (PubMed, arXiv, social media, etc) to secure humanity, seeking patterns and solutions in scholarly communications and healthcare.

I also want to become an educator who can teach in an easy-to-understand and intriguing way.

I am a Ph.D. student in Information Studies at the School of Information, UT Austin, supervised by Professor Ying Ding. Before joining Professor Ying Ding’s team, I worked with Doctor Yi Bu at the Department of Information Management, at Peking University.

I am eagerly looking forward to building an academic career (aka, a researcher and a teacher) after completing my Ph.D.

I am a fan of the culture of anywhere on earth! I am also a basketball fan.
