My name is Jiawei Xu (许家伟 in Chinese). I am a third-year Ph.D. student in Information Studies at the UT Austin School of Information, working in the AI Health Lab under the supervision of Professor Ying Ding. Previously, I was advised by Dr. Yi Bu in the Department of Information Management at Peking University.

I am a social science student with a growing focus on computer science and AI. My career goals are open-ended. I conduct research at the intersection of LLM agents, social science (e.g., science of science), and healthcare applications.
